女子短大生における食パンの意識調査

Research on the awareness of white bread for women’s college students

Abstract

   Information about the awareness of white bread was gathered by questionnaire. The questionnaire was conducted to women’s college students, who belonged to the department of food and nutrition or to the department of culture international. We found that about 70% of them liked white bread, and most of them had it at breakfast. They often bought white bread, which was divided into six slices (21mm thick) at supermarkets. Toast was the most popular way of eating for white bread. Important things, when they purchased white bread, were taste, texture, appearance, and price. Students, who learned food and nutrition, paid more attention to the food labeling of white bread, as compared with those at department of culture international.
