Food and the Apoptotic Pathway

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of food on the apoptotic phenomena. Tomatoes were the most effective stuff for the enhance of the apoptotic reaction against A172cells. Geen tea was the most effective stuff to prevent the normal cells from the damage by Etoposide. The results obtained indicate that the natural antioxidants may be considered as effective sources for combating damage to cells in healthy persons.
